Biography Baritone Martial Singher was born in Oloron-Sainte-Marie, France on August 14, 1904. He studied singing at the Paris Conservatory with Andre Gresse and made his debut in 1934. He sang with the Paris Opera, and the Opera Comique until leaving occupied France for New York in 1940.
